How to Manage MikroTik Bandwidth With PCQ System Feature
PCQ (Per Connection Queue) is a bandwidth sharing method on MikroTik RouterOS that allows users to share bandwidth evenly among active users.
In PCQ, each connection gets the same bandwidth allocation and is governed by active traffic usage.
Here are the steps to setup PCQ on MikroTik RouterOS:

Here are the steps to setup PCQ on MikroTik RouterOS:
- "Login" to MikroTik RouterOS using the Winbox application or via a browser by entering the MikroTik RouterOS IP address.
- Click on the "Queue" menu located on the left side of the Winbox application window.
- Click the "+" button and select "PCQ" from the list of options.
- Enter a name in the Name field.
- Select 'Etc.Address' if the plan will limit based on the destination address or 'Src.Address' if the plan will limit based on the origin address.
- Select "Protocol" if you want to limit based on the protocol used.
- Fill in the value in the "Dmax Limit" column to determine the maximum download bandwidth limit for each connection.
- Fill in the value in the "Umax Limit" column to determine the maximum upload bandwidth limit for each connection.
- Select 'Src.Address' in the 'Split Horizontally' column if you plan to divide the bandwidth horizontally or select 'Etc.Address' if you plan to divide the bandwidth vertically.
- Click the "Apply" button to save the PCQ configuration.
