How to Manage MikroTik Bandwidth With Queue Tree System Feature
Queue Tree is a bandwidth sharing method on MikroTik RouterOS that allows users to create a hierarchy in bandwidth settings.
In the Queue Tree, users can determine which users get certain bandwidth access and allow users to share the bandwidth evenly or give priority to certain traffic.

Following are the steps for setting up a Queue Tree on MikroTik RouterOS:
- "Login" to MikroTik RouterOS using the Winbox application or via a browser by entering the MikroTik RouterOS IP address.
- Click the "Queue" menu located on the left side of the Winbox application window.
- Click the + sign then select 'Queue Tree' from the list of options.
- Enter a name in the "Name" column.
- Select "Parent" in the "Parent Queue" column if you want to add a child queue to a specific parent queue or select "global" if you want to create a global queue.
- Select "Target" in the "Packet Mark" field and enter a target value to limit bandwidth to specific traffic.
- Fill in the value in the "Max Limit" column to determine the maximum upload and download bandwidth limit for each target.
- Select 'Etc.Address' if the plan limits based on the destination address or 'Src.Address' if the plan limits based on the origin address.
- Select "Protocol" if you want to limit based on the protocol used.
- Click the "Apply" button to save the Queue Tree configuration.
